Our Team
Ron is the owner and manager of Ronald Grant Urban Spa. He started doing nails over 20 years ago, in 1984. Since then, he has created an empire in Victoria that serves clients from all over the island and the mainland. The opening of Ronald Grant Urban Spa in 2004 has only heightened the success of Ron's hard work. During the years, Ron has pleased his numerous clients and his talents and will continue to do so.
Rachael has been doing nails at Ronald Grant for eight years now, second to Ron. She came to us from Martier and has been Ron's right-hand woman ever since. She is known for her perfect lines and love of colour. Rachel is a very efficient worker who has built up her clintele with her love for people. Her two dogs, Prada and Patch are her pride and joy, as any of her clients would tell you.
Leah has been with us at Ronald Grant for almost two years now. Her fun and caring spirit is what her clients love about her. She loves her job doing nails, and it shows in her work. Those who come to Leah once, usually choose to stay with her as her client. Her upbeat personality keeps the shop fun and happy.
Rose graduated from Martier in early 2006 and has been at Ronald Grant for a little over one year. She is the youngest of our technicians, but her work proves otherwise. Her talent was noticed at Martier and has been proven here at Ronald Grant. Art, colour, as well as acrylic toes are her specialty. As the creative member of the team, she is always coming up with great new ideas for nails and the shop.
Diane is our newest addition to Ronald Grant. She graduated with honours from Martier in 2005. Diane enjoys doing coloured french acrylics, as well as the traditional french. As our only gel technician, she has a talent for doing superb gel nails. We enjoy having her smiling face and enthusiastic attitude around the shop.
Rene opened her fabulous hair salon, Rene's Hair Studio, in Ronald Grant in July of 2007. We are very pleased to have Rene join us as our first hairdresser. She has been doing hair for 27 years, but ironically doesn't look a day over 26. She has worked as a platform artist for hair shows all over the world and has won numerous awards. Her years of expertise have earned her a solid clientele who swear by her work. Her bubbly personality has added new joy to our growing shop.
Jessica has been with Ronald Grant for over a year and has been very successful doing esthetics and massage services. She graduated from the Academy of Excellence in 2005. Clients appreciate her caring and easygoing professional personality. Jessica loves helping people to feel their best and her spa services allow her to do that. She specializes in pedicures, manicures, waxing, facials and massage.
Jeni is our most recent addition to the team at Ronald Grant, with 13 years of esthetics experience behind her. Her clients enjoy her relaxed and professional demeanor, skillfull hands, and dedication. Her belief in ongoing education is evident in the wide range of services she provides. These include: facials, pedicures, reflexology, body wraps, aromatherapy massage, eyelash extensions and sugaring.
Katie has been with Ronald Grant doing reception work for a year now. Her hard work and friendly demeanor keeps the shop running smoothly. She is a fourth year student at University of Victoria as well, and will be working full time during the summer.
Nicole is our newest receptionist. Her background in business as well as her organizational skills are balanced with a refreshing upbeat attitude that is sure to please all clients. She will be working here part time during the summer. |
